Dr. Brian Barnhart DDS
Dr. Barnhart received his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Grove City College in northwestern Pennsylvania and his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. Upon completion of school he began practicing dentistry as an officer in the US Army and remained on active duty for nine years. During his time on active duty he completed an Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry at Fort Lewis, Washington, was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and obtained his Certificate of Endodontics at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Dr. Barnhart’s last assignment was Fort Drum, NY where he served as the Chief of Endodontics. Dr. Barnhart is a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and has presented numerous lectures on endodontics. He is currently an attending for the dental residencies at both Upstate Medical University and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Barnhart maintains partnership with Endodontic Specialists, a group endodontic practice, where he focuses on Non-surgical and Surgical endodontics as well as exodontia, grafting and implantology.
Dr. Barnhart and his wife, Kristen, have four young children. He enjoys a number of activities including skiing, running, playing guitar and digital photography.
