MASTERS SERIES

This course is comprised of  60 -70 % Hands on sessions and clinical Implant Dentistry and is recommended for clinicians starting out or wanting to further their education with treatment of more challenging cases. All details of the course are not included on the website for proprietary reasons so clinicians are requested to call in for more information.

 

MODULE 1   Fundamental Principles of Oral implantology

1. Case Selection, Diagnosis, and Treatment Planning.

2. Understanding Implant designs and surfaces.

3. Anatomy, biology and bone physiology.

4. Cone beam Diagnosis & Treatmen Planning.

5. Surgical Guides – designing and fabrication.

6. Incision, flap management , suturing and wound healing.

7. 3D printing and photography and documentation.

8. Implant placement and restorations for single edentulous cases.

9. Case discussions.

HANDS ON SESSION

1. Diagnosis and treatment planning on models and patients with face bow.

2. CBCT hands on training ; capturing images and interpretation.

3. Working with surgical guides.

4. Photography and documentation. 3D printing and scanning cases.

5. Implant placement on models, pig jaws.Flap management and suturing.

 

 

MODULE 2      Immediate Placement and Bone Grafting. 

1. Diagnosis, and Treatment Planning for Immediate placement.

2. Biological and mechanical principles of immediate placement.

3. Anatomy, biology and bone physiology.

4. Principles & techniques for atraumatic tooth extraction.

5. Role of Soft and hard tissue around immediate implants.

6. Incision, flap management , suturing and wound healing.

7. Flap vs. flapless surgeries.

8. Basic biomaterial, Socket grafting and tenting.

9. Managing infected sites

10. Full arch cases with delayed and immediate placement.

HANDS ON SESSION

1. Diagnosis and treatment planning on models and patients.

2. Atraumatic extractions on models and pig jaws.

3. Socket grafting and GBR for immediate placement.

4. Piezo electric and magnetic mallet extraction protocol.

5.Tenting, and case discussions.

 

 

MODULE 3     Growth Factors and GBR 

1.  Diagnosis, classification and Treatment Planning for bony defects.

2.  Biological and mechanical principles of GBR.

3.  Biomaterials and membranes: Type; techniques & applications.

4.  Ridge condensation, split and expansion techniques.

5.  Anatomy of the sinus and limitations.

6.  Sinus Grafting : Lateral and crystal approach.

7. Growth Factors : PRF, iPRF, APRF, S-PRF – Rationale & Techniques.

8. Pain Control and management.

HANDS ON SESSION

1. Diagnosis and treatment planning on models and patients.

2. Choosing Biomaterials and membranes for different defect type.

3. Advanced tenting for Lateral and vertical bone gain (Umbrella Technique).

4. Ridge expansion and split : tools and Techniques.

5. Sinus elevation: Virtual planning & sinus augmentation models/ simulators.

 

 

MODULE  4       LIVE SURGERY ON PATIENTS

1. Diagnosis and treatment planning on patients.

2. Delayed, immediate and early placement.

3. Advanced GBR, ridge augmentation (split, expansion & tenting).

4. Crestal and lateral approach sinus augmentation.

5. Phlebotomy,: PRF, iPRF, A-PRF, S-PRF.

Module 5          Advanced Prosthodontics

1. Diagnosis, and Treatment Planning for advanced prosthodontics.

2. Principles of occlusion for single and full mouth rehabilitation.

3. Choosing Abutments: stock vs. custom. And Cement vs. screw.

4. Transfers, UCLA, CAD CAM, (material & designs).

5. Implant supported Removable prosthodontics – Techniques.

6. Esthetic zone management utilizing latest technologies.

7. Full mouth reconstruction Case reviews.

HANDS ON SESSION

1. Diagnosis and treatment planning on models and patients.

2. Provisionaliztion for esthetics and full mouth on models.

3. Stage II prosthetic protocols for restoring form and function.

4. Seating Final restoration, protocols, techniques and verification.

 

 

MODULE 6     Managing Complications 

1. Recognizing, Diagnosing, and Treating complications.

2. Harvesting Autogenous bone from different sources for repair.

3. Advanced Soft tissue development. 

4. Role of growth factors like BMP in tissue repair.

5. When where and how to manage complications.

6. Final case presentation and Graduation.

HANDS ON SESSION

1. Recognize, diagnose and treat complications. 

2. Advance soft & hard tissue grafting for failing cases.

3. Managing and staging tissue repair on models.

4.Final Case Presentation.

           GRADUATION CEREMONY

 

COURSE ASSIGNMENTS IS A PART OF THE COURSE COMPLETION.

ALL ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO GRADUATION.

CE CREDITS:

145 HRS. of Educational credits and an additional credits unto 16 CE will be applied towards assignments.

Total : $24500.00 paid in 8 monthly payments of $3062.50.

Fee includes

All materials, handouts, meals and hotel stay for 3 nights from module 1, 2 nights for module 2, 3, 5 and 6.
Module 4 will include 5 nights of stay in Dominican Republic.
3. The fee also includes a Full surgical kit and implants.
